Welcome to HealStrong, your trusted source for personalized primary care in Venice, Florida. My journey into medicine began with a BA in Psychobiology and a deep dive into neurosurgical research. After graduating from Osteopathic Medical School in New Jersey, I completed a fifth-year rotating internship before heading to Danville, PA, for a three-year residency in Emergency Medicine.

Following residency and board certification, I spent two years living atop a serene mountain two hours from Philadelphia, embracing outdoor pursuits like cycling, mountain biking, hiking, and fly fishing for rainbow and brown trout. During this time, I became a die-hard fan of Philadelphia's major sports teams—the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and Sixers—while enjoying tennis and skiing with my family.

The allure of year-round sunshine and vibrant living brought me to Sarasota, Florida, where I joined Sarasota Memorial Hospital's Emergency Medicine department. Sarasota’s unique combination of waterfront living, exceptional weather, sport fishing, cycling, and cultural activities made it the perfect setting for both my professional and personal life.

Over the years, I’ve embraced new challenges, from taking up Olympic-style weightlifting to helping launch and grow a network of urgent care centers for Sarasota Memorial Hospital. These experiences ultimately led me to discover my passion for primary care. For the past 3.5 years, I have focused on helping patients achieve optimal preventive health and navigate the complexities of modern medicine.

With over 27 years of experience, I am excited to embark on a new chapter by opening my own clinic, HealStrong, in Venice, Florida. Here, I aim to provide comprehensive traditional primary care and urgent care services, tailored to meet the unique needs of our community.
